About Mrs. Noya

Hola! I am the 6B homeroom teacher, Spanish teacher for grades K-2/6-8 and Latin dance elective teacher. I've been teaching for over 10 years, and this is my fifth year at St. Patrick School. My goal is to make  learning Spanish as much fun as possible while getting students ready for foreign language in high school.

I have two great kids, both are SPS graduates. One attends Texas Tech, and the other is at Bishop Lynch. I've been married for 21 years and our family loves being a part of the St. Patrick community. I grew up in Dallas and went to St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School through 8th grade. In high school my family had a wonderful opportunity to move to Bolivia, and this was an awesome chance to live in a Spanish-speaking country and experience another culture and way of life. I have also been able to visit several different countries in South America, and this has been a life changing experience. I have a BA degree from Southern Methodist University and a High School Spanish teaching certificate. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, growing in my Catholic faith and of course traveling!
