We are excited to offer Extended Day Programming for the 2020-2021 school year. Like many things this school year, Extended Day will look a bit different. What will not look different is the heart of the program. We will continue to guide your children. To offer them opportunities for play, homework, self-esteem building, peer interaction, and socialization.
In efforts to comply with the Center for Disease Control and the Diocese of Dallas we will follow the same guidelines that are followed during the school day at St Patrick Catholic School. This means we will run our program in “pods”, keeping children in the same areas they are in during the school day. Students will not necessarily be in their specific homerooms, instead they will be in their pod areas as a group.
To accomplish social distancing, safety, and staffing objectives, we will need to limit the amount of students we serve in each “pod”. A “pod” is a grouping of students. In order to accomplish this task, Extended Day will be offering service to only those students who are register for our program and pay the monthly fee of $150, at the beginning of each month. Drop in services will only be available at the rate of $25 per child with 24 hour written notice, if there is space in the appropriate “pod”.
Due to the health and safety concerns, this year, 2020-2021, there will be no Early Morning Care and children will arrive to school at their appointed time and check in directly to their homerooms.
To register your child, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember, registration is on a first come/first serve bases and when the program fills up we will begin a waiting list.
Updated guidelines for the 2020-2021 school year will be available soon.
