St. Patrick Catholic School is committed to transforming the hearts and minds of students through academic excellence, faith formation and service. We utilize Diocesan Standards-Based Curriculum designed by the Catholic Schools Office of Dallas, TX. Our highly qualified and experienced faculty and staff are committed to the integral formation of each student through the Catholic education that St. Patrick provides. Preparing students at every grade level in a supportive environment to become strong, empathetic leaders with 21st century skills like critical thinking, communicating, and problem-solving. Our graduates are not only intellectually prepared for high school and beyond but are also well equipped with abilities and knowledge needed to serve others and participate wholeheartedly in communities in which they live.

Early Childhood – Pre-K 3&4 and Kindergarten

St. Patrick Catholic School offers both Pre-Kindergarten (PK) and Kindergarten for opportunities.

At St. Patrick, PK families can choose whether to have their children enrolled in either half-day or full-day school. Our PK3 and PK4 programs are centered around faith, community, and academics. Catholic faith-based learning plants seeds and compassion, self-control, moral integrity, right judgement and family values using Virtue Based Restorative Discipline (VBRD). Our classrooms use a combination of teacher directed and self-directed educational centers to support healthy brain growth and self-regulation. Our academic curriculum is based on the Diocese of Dallas curriculum with emphasis on social emotional learning. Academic focuses include fine motor skills development, pre-reading and writing and are approached in a well-supported, academic environment utilizing differentiated instruction and dynamic whole brain activities. PK prepares students for Kindergarten and beyond.

Kindergarten is a full-day program that provides a developmentally appropriate balance of learning through whole group, small groups, individual, and play-centered activities.  Our goal is to instill a love of learning and build a strong foundation for our young students as they take their first steps on the road that leads to college and heaven. Kindergarten is a tremendous year of growth! By differentiating instruction to meet the needs of each child, students are met where they are at the beginning of the year and are given the opportunity to be challenged and bloom in their own time. Academic subject areas include Religion, Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  Using the curriculum of the Diocese of Dallas, we utilize the Haughton Mifflin Harcourt Into Reading program, the Pearson math program, and the Benson Handwriting program.  Special subjects included weekly are:  Spanish, Music, Art, P.E, Computer and Library.  All subjects are taught with an emphasis on virtues, and a growth mindset, in an atmosphere of love and acceptance for the individual God-given gifts each student brings to the St. Patrick family.

Our Early Childhood program instills a foundation for learning, facilitates intellectual, physical, and social emotional growth, as well as encourages students to grow in their faith and practice living with virtue.
