About Mrs. Alexandra Noya

Welcome to second grade! I have over twenty years of teaching experience, in both Catholic and public schools, but I feel so blessed that my teaching career has brought me here. I am teaching two of my favorite subjects, religion and reading. I hope to pass some of that excitement and love of learning to the students.
I have a Bachelor’s degree is in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from SMU, but I always had a love for teaching, so I got a certification in bilingual education from Mountain View College shortly after graduating. I also finished my online religious education from the University of Dayton.
My husband Sergio and I have two children, both graduates from SPS and Bishop Lynch. We loved the Catholic school experience and the tight community at St. Patrick. Our son graduated from Texas Tech and works in sales at Southern Glazers. Our daughter is a senior at Texas A & M in College Station. Our family loves to travel. When we can, we go back to Bolivia and Chile to visit family and friends.
Working with children and helping them grow is what I enjoy most. My favorite quote is from Dr. Scott Hann “A joyful Catholic is God’s greatest instrument.” I hope to be an instrument of God for your children and share with them my love of our Catholic faith!
