About Mrs. Katie Owens

Welcome to Pre-K 4. My name is Katie Owens, and I am blessed to teach this wonderful age group. My husband and I have been married for over 28 years, and we have three wonderful children; all of which are graduates of SPS.

I have been a teacher for 29 years but took time off to raise our children. I am a graduate of St. Patrick’s, Ursuline Academy, and Texas Christian University. I have always been actively involved in my parish and my children’s schools serving on a variety of committees such as Mother’s Club, PTA, School Advisory Council, and more.

My goal for the year is to meet your child where they are and grow them forward through dynamic, engaging, and interactive learning experiences. I seek to educate the whole child and instill a lifelong love of learning. I am looking forward to a wonderful year, working together, embracing the gospel, and transforming the hearts and minds of our St. Patrick community.
