About Mrs. Amy Lucido
I am blessed to share life with my husband and our four incredible children. Our family has deep roots in Catholic education, and it has been a joy to watch our children grow through each stage of their academic and faith journeys. As both a parent and advocate for children and families, I have a deep appreciation for the partnership between families and schools in helping children develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
As a Certified Child Life Specialist, I began my career more than 25 years ago in the hospital setting, helping children and families navigate the challenges of illness, hospitalization, and medical procedures. Through a developmental approach, I taught children coping skills and provided support during some of life's most difficult moments. My passion for helping children thrive eventually led me to transition into education, where I now apply those same principles of child and family development to support students and families as they navigate their academic journeys.
At St. Patrick School, I work with families who have academic needs, concerns or learning differences, partnering with them to help each child grow in confidence, independence, and success. I am grateful for the opportunity to combine my professional experience with my love for Catholic education, and I am especially thankful to be part of the SPS community, where I have the privilege of watching students grow into the individuals God created them to be. I am grateful to serve as your Director of Student Success Programming.
