About Mrs. Yvette Solis-Longoria
Welcome to Second Grade! I am blessed to be a part of this amazing St. Patrick School community as proud parent of a graduate and as a teacher. This will be my 15th year as a member of this school beginning as an instructional aide, in the POD and then a teacher. I received my bachelor’s degree in social work from Texas State University and a master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University and hold an EC-6th grade with Science of Reading teacher certification.
My husband Richard and I have been married 31 years and have a daughter, Abigail, an SPS alumnus, Bishop Lynch graduate and who is attending St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where I grew up. When I am not at SPS I love to read, walk at the lake, craft, garden, and most of all be with my family.
My hope for my students is to be challenged, feel encouraged to be creative, grow in faith, have friendships, and feel joy in our classroom. I am in the best place to be an educator of religion, math, and science surrounded by other amazing colleagues inspired by our faith.
