About Mrs. Yvette Solis-Longoria

Welcome to 2^nd Grade! I am Yvette Solis-Longoria but my students know me as “Mrs. Longoria.” I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of The Lake University.   This will be my 10^th year with the St. Patrick community. My first 7 years were as an instructional aide in the POD and now I am beginning my 3^rd year as a second-grade teacher.  I am a product of Catholic education from grades K-12 in San Antonio. 

I have had the honor of experiencing this wonderful community both as a parent and teacher. My daughter, Abbie, just graduated from St. Patrick after being here since PK 3.  She is now a freshman at Bishop Lynch High School. I love to read, cook, craft, watch movies, play outdoors, travel, and most of all be with my family.

I am very excited to partner with you to make second grade a year of spiritual, social and academic growth. I thank you for sharing your children with me as we wonder together!
