About Diana Velazquez
Hello! My name is Diana Velazquez, and I am very happy to be a part of the Saint Patrick Catholic School family. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and have been a teacher for over twenty years. Being a Catholic educator is a wonderful mission, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the community at SPS by partnering with families in the formation of their children as saints and scholars. My goal is to help every student discover and develop their unique and God-given gifts with courage and authenticity.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, Fenix and Jordana, my parents, and my sisters and their families. We love to travel together and gather around my mom’s delicious home-cooked meals. I also belong to a small community in my parish that gathers at least a couple of times a week. We accompany each other along our faith journey and share in each other’s joys and sufferings. One of my favorite things to do is help plan and go on local and international pilgrimages with the youth of my parish.
I hope to count on your prayers throughout the year. Saint Patrick, pray for us!
