About Mrs. Maria Frazer
My name is Maria Frazer and I was blessed to join the St. Patrick Catholic School community in January 2026 as the Smart Lab Innovation Center teacher. My husband and I have been married for 37 years and have two sons and nine grandchildren. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Saint Edward’s University in Austin.
I have been teaching for almost 30 years. My journey includes teaching in both public and private Catholic schools. I have been privileged to act as campus minister, religious coordinator, director of religious education, and theology teacher in both the parish and school setting. I have taught all grade levels but primarily middle school and high school students. My degree includes hours in other subject areas that has afforded me the opportunity to teach computer technology, Spanish, science, and robotics.
The SPS community has been incredibly kind and welcoming, and I look forward to contributing to the heart of what makes this community special. I am a Smart Lab certified instructor, and it is a joy to bring new life back into our Smart Lab curriculum. Smart Lab inspires students to be creative, problem-solving innovators who are emboldened and impassioned to be productive members of society. God in His goodness has blessed each person with unique gifts and talents, and in the Smart Lab students are encouraged to work together to build community and achieve common goals. I am a firm believer in not just inspiring my students but being inspired by them and encouraging them to increase their knowledge and improve their self-esteem in a manner that continues to light their path towards success spiritually and academically. It is exciting to witness the joy students have when they enter the lab and I look forward to embarking on another fabulous year!
