About Daniel Neugent

My name is Danny Vincent Lombardi Neugent, and I am excited to join the faculty and staff at St. Patrick's School. My educational background includes a Bachelors in Marketing and Graphic Design from Olivet College, along with a Master's degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University. My education has equipped with a diverse skill set and a deep passion for teaching.

Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of achieving significant accomplishments in the field of education. In my previous teaching position in Dallas, I consistently witnessed my students outperforming their peers on the DISD STAAR tests, with an average of 12% higher success rate. Additionally, my experience as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer in Timor Leste allowed me to make a positive impact on over 300 students from various age groups, spanning from children to adults. Furthermore, I have also demonstrated effective leadership skills, leading the basketball team at Olivet College to their first championship victory in over four decades. Recently, as the Defensive line coach at Samuell High School, I played a role in the development of several talented players who achieved recognition at the district and state levels.

What truly fuels my love for teaching history is the ability to make an impact and build relationships with students in the present while teaching them about our past, in order to make a difference in their future.

When I am not in the classroom, you can often find me engaging in my favorite hobbies such as playing any sport, learning something new, or supporting my favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks. During the summer, I had the opportunity to explore the picturesque lakes of Wisconsin and Michigan, and I also embarked on memorable day trips to Austin, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

With great enthusiasm, I am eagerly looking forward to becoming a part of the St. Patrick's School community, collaborating with fellow educators, and contributing to the school's tradition of academic excellence. I am grateful for the warm welcome and I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you.
