About Ms. Pat Hooper
Welcome to the Library! I am so happy to serve as Library Manager at St. Patrick Catholic School. It is a true blessing to me to be able to share my love of books, reading and learning with your children!
I was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Dallas. I worked in the private sector for over ten years in Electronic Commerce, Management Information Systems and Implementation, and Supply Chain Management, serving on several industry standardization committees. I took a break from my career to raise my two amazing daughters who both graduated from St. Patrick Catholic School in 2015 and 2019. I have worked at St. Pat’s since 2013 as a substitute teacher, Library Aide, and 2nd grade Instructional Aide. In July 2019, I began my current role as Library Manager. My hobbies are reading (especially on the beach!), yoga, walking my dog, playing games, spending time with my family, watching movies, and traveling.
I strive to meet the needs of our students by helping them develop the skills necessary to become independent thinkers, successful, objective researchers, and ultimately by trying to foster life-long readers who enjoy learning new things. Thank you for entrusting your students to our care!
