About Mrs. Simms
“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
(I Peter 4:10)
I’m the 3A Homeroom Teacher and love working with 3rd graders! For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher. And after 15 years of teaching, I remain committed to my profession and grateful to be a part of the St. Patrick faculty. I was raised in the Lake Highlands area and graduated from Bishop Lynch High School. I then received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Maine at Farmington. I taught in Plano I.S.D. for many years, but my most valuable teaching experience was while working for the U.S. Department of Defense School System at Lajes Field in the Azores Islands, Portugal. God bless our military and their families! My husband and I are St. Patrick Church parishioners and we have two precious girls. We frequently visit the Dallas Arboretum, the Dallas Zoo, and the Perot Museum.
