Welcome! I partner with Mrs. Santoni as homeroom teacher for 7A. I will teach religion for 7th grade, guidance for 7th and 8th grade and speech. My goal for religion is for the students to embrace the truth and beauty of our Catholic faith and develop a personal relationship with our loving God that will sustain them through life's challenges. The seventh grade will focus on how God is present in their lives, the Holy Spirit, who Jesus is, how He is alive today, and how the Church lives as the Body of Christ.

I grew up in Iowa, and graduated from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame. I received my Masters in Education/Counseling from St. Louis University. I have been blessed to work at St. Patrick School for 29 years. Prior to St. Patrick, I taught at Holy Trinity School, Dallas; Bishop DuBurgh High School, St. Louis; St. Cecilia School, St Louis; and worked as a lay missionary with the Holy Cross Sisters in Parana, Brazil.

I have been married to my sweetheart, John, for 32 years. We have two children, John and Kathleen, who are both proud graduates of St. Patrick School. We are all so grateful to be a part of the St. Patrick Family!

As a teacher at St. Patrick, I was awarded the Work of Heart Award, the Hesburgh Excellence in Teaching Award for 2011, and the St. Patrick Teacher of the Year for 2012-13. When I am not teaching, I enjoy working with the St. Patrick Refugee Outreach Program.
