About Mrs. Ramirez

Welcome to Preschool!  I am lucky to have the most fun job in the world--teaching the five-day, four-year-old Pre-K class.  I have taught early childhood education, including Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Kindergarten, for 21 years.  I love my job because my young students are not only the cutest little people in the school, they are always excited and enthusiastic about learning!

I grew up in Dallas and attended Catholic school at St. Elizabeth of Hungary and Bishop Dunne High School.  I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas, and went on to receive my Texas teaching certification. I am certified to teach early childhood through sixth grade.  I was honored to receive the Work of Heart award from the Catholic Foundation in 2007.

My husband Richard and I are the proud parents of two children, both of whom are SPS graduates.  My youngest attends Bishop Lynch High School, and my oldest is a BL alumni and recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma.  We are parishioners at St. Patrick and love being a part of the St. Patrick community.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, and watching my son play sports.

I am looking forward to another great year at St. Patrick!
